Continue ReadingMekhi Wharton Mekhi Wharton 6’5″ | 215 lbs | QB Neumann-Goretti | 2024 State PA was the clear MVP of the quarterback group at the PRZ Showcase. Wharton is great size standing 6’5 inches tall. He has a good arm and is accurate in throwing the football. From the position drills, through the one-on-one workouts, Wharton stood out. The quarterback was a talented group, but Wharton stood out as the best, which is why he was named the MVP of that group. Wharton currently has no offers from College Football coaches, which makes no sense to me. Wharton is a talented prospect who eventually will end up playing College Football, and whoever gets him will get a talented player.

Colt Sprankle Colt Sprankle 6’0″ | 155 lbs | QB Armstrong | 2026 State PA was named as one of the top 5 standout quarterbacks from PRZ Showcase. Sprankle was super impressive all night throwing the ball. He was in the running for the MVP as well. Sprankle has good mechanics and shows them off with his throwing ability. He gets into his drops well and has quiet feet that enable him to throw an accurate football. Sprankle was also a stand-out at last year’s camp as well, and I noticed a difference in his physical appearance this year as he has gotten a lot stronger. Sprankle is a talented quarterback who was a starting quarterback last year until he broke his collarbone.
Joe McLeish Joe McLeish 6’1″ | 160 lbs | QB Imhotep Charter | 2027 State PA was another consistent quarterback at the PRZ showcase and earned a top 5 recognition at the camp. McLeish is another quarterback with impeccable mechanics. He does a good job of setting his feet and throwing a good accurate pass. He does a nice job of throwing a deep ball by putting a touch on the ball. The other part of his game that is impressive is McLeish is only a Freshman, and has a ton of room to grow as a player. McLeish will be in the running for the quarterback position at Imhotep next year and I expect if he wins the job he will play at a high level.
Eddie Corkery Eddie Corkery 6’1″ | 190 lbs | QB State College | 2025 State PA is another talented quarterback who did a nice job at the PRZ showcase. Corkery might have the strongest arm of this group of quarterbacks. He does a great job throwing deep-out routes or deep balls. Both of those type of passes you see his strength on those types of passes. Corkery also has really good mechanics and uses them well to throw a good accurate pass. Corkery is a player who started last year for State College and should only improve going into his 2nd year as a starter. I am looking forward to seeing him play next season.

Kayden Witter Kayden Witter 6’0″ | 190 lbs | QB Pope John Paul II | 2027 State PA is someone who was not on my radar coming into the PRZ Showcase, but Witter showed out at the camp and earned a top 5 position ranking at quarterback. For a 2027 prospect, Witter displayed very good mechanics. He does a good job of setting his feet and throwing the ball. Witter shows a good and strong arm as well. He is the type of prospect that should only get better and I am excited to see his progress next season.

He shows good mechanics and does a nice job of setting his feet to throw the ball Shank is great size standing 6’3 inches tall. Another talented quarterback who had a strong season for Camp Hill and did a nice job throwing the ball at the Prep Redzone Showcase. He has a good arm and flashed this during the one-on-one portion of the camp. Branstetter is someone I am excited to see his progress going forward after a strong Junior year of playing on the field and at the showcase.
