Expert Analysis
Ed OBrien | Prep Redzone Scout
Mizzer was recognized as one of the top offensive players in the Class 4A West region. He’s a shifty wide receiver who can makes plays from the outside and inside. Mizzer is also solid as a punt and kick returner. There’s a few plays on his highlights that show he’s able to pick up big yardage after the catch. He is a mismatch in the slot. He’s either going to defeat the safety in 1v1 coverage or find openings against zone coverage. Look for a big year from Mizzer.

A wide receiver I feel is still be under rated and over looked by colleges, Mason put on a show in technique at the Showcase. An excellent router runner, Mason has great burst off the LOS and has the ability to beat press man coverage. He is very smooth in his running and movements. With quick feet, always on his toes and able to stem his routes with precision, drop his weight & make sharp crisp cuts that throw the defender off balance. Mason has great COD ability and oily hips, which allowed to get wide open on basically every 1v1 rep. Mason also displayed great hands and the ability to find/track the ball and go get it. He has excellent body control, able to put himself in the best position to make the catch, as well as being able to go up and get it over top the defender.
Mason is a receiver that is consistent and has the ability to make plays across all 3 level of the passing game. Able to line up out wide and get vertical or do damage in the slot, he is a do it all WR. A prospect I think should easily be getting strong FCS interest/offers.

Mizzer emerged as a key contributor among the QO underclassmen, finishing the season with 460 yards and seven touchdowns. His performance played a crucial role in propelling the QO offense to championship glory. With impressive quickness and acceleration, Mizzer is a threat in open space, capable of breaking away and leaving defenders behind. He excels at gaining yards after the catch, combining strength with electric elusiveness. With several senior playmakers graduating, expect Mizzer to take on an even larger role in the offense as a dynamic and dependable weapon.

. Able to find holes in coverage, work the middle of the field and be effective in crossers from the slot role. His size and built frame allowed him to compete for passes and come out the victor as Mason possesses strong hands. Effective after the catch, he had many plays over the weekend where he caught it short and got nice YAC for big plays. Able to make the spectacular catch as well he is a versatile playmaking WR and was key in MoCo Dawgs deep tournament run.

5’10, 170 pounds. Ranked as a top 15 wideout among Maryland Juniors. High praise, especially when you consider how loaded Maryland is at the position. Part of the 13-0 State Champion Quince Orchard program.

. Great balance, great accelerator, also carries a great understanding of route concepts. Understands when to throttle down to potentially sit in a zone, understands when to hit the gas to force a DBs hand. Great transitioner too, can turn into a playmaker quickly after bringing in a catch. Great build, the kid is jacked up and tough. Without knowing much about his background, I can surmise that Mizzer played a pivotal role in Quince Orchard’s Title run. Mizzer was one of the better performers out of MoCo Dawgs.

Mason is a 2026 WR that is poised to shine this season and will surely be a name for our next 2026 player rankings as big riser. Transferring back to Quince Orchard after a year at Seneca Valley HS, this was my first time seeing him in action and he had a strong showing Friday evening.
He had the stand out play of the game, going up mossing the defender and high pointing the ball for an impressive 1 handed TD catch. Showing his athleticism, strong hands, toughness and focus all in one play. As impressive as that one play was, Mason showed plenty of other impressive traits on the day. I like Mason best in the slot as he is a crisp route runner. He is able to create separation and his own space to get himself open for big plays. He can take a screen pass, make a guy miss and get big yards or go across the middle making sure handed catches. Mason will be a key weapon for QO this fall and will be instrumental to their success. I expect Mason to be on a lot of colleges boards after his Jr. campaign and have a big camp season next summer.

Mizzer is an under the radar player who will put on a show a Quince Orchard this season. Last year Mizzer was expected to have an impact in the QO offense but broke his foot early in the season. Since recovering he’s been having a strong offseason. He made his name known at the PRZPA camp and stood out among all receivers as one of the youngest threats. Mizzer had the size of a varsity vet and eye-catching skill. Along with QO’s weapons in Tavahri Groves Tavahri Groves 5'11" | 165 lbs | WR Quince Orchard | 2024 State MD and Iverson Howard Iverson Howard 5'10" | 195 lbs | RB Quince Orchard | 2025 State MD , new transfer QB Nino Marzullo Nino Marzullo 6'2" | 210 lbs | QB Quince Orchard | 2024 State MD will have Mizzer as a sneaky play maker through the 2023 season.rn

Here’s a Maryland prospect who was in real consideration for post-camp top-five honors. I actually learned a ton about Mizzer after the camp ended, as most of my work is done in Pennsylvania. I am impressed at the fact that this young man is only a freshman. Watching him work all camp, there’s no way you would have convinced me of his age. Thorough route runner who possessed an attention to detail. Confidence of a senior, seasoned hands. The young man has a bright future in front of him regardless. I’ll do what I can to keep an eye on him moving forward.
