The state championship winning QB was easily one of the top QB performers of the weekend. He ran the MoCo Dawgs offense to perfection. Used all his weapons and all of the field he was able to complete passes across all 3 levels. He was decisive with his passes and decision making, getting the ball out quick with nice accuracy. He was consistent and was smart with the ball, knowing when to drop it off to the open target and when to take the shot down field for big plays. With a smooth quick release, Travon can just zip it out with a flick of his wrist and get it on target with pace. The combination of Travon’s arm and veteran QB play, along with the all the playmakers on the team lead to them being a high powered offense throughout the tournament.

Travon took big strides this year as a QB and really impressed me with his play when I saw him. He helped lead QO to another state championship this year and made 2nd team all MoCo.

A calm in the pocket QB, Travon throws a pretty ball. He shows solid arm strength with smooth release and good mechanics. You see Travon go through his reads / progressions and throws with timing & accuracy. He can move the pocket to extend the play, throws well on the run and can scramble for yards as well as run the QB read. Travon’s deep ball is something that stands out to me. He stands tall in the pocket, steps up and throws a beautiful pass the gets up and down with accuracy able to hit the WR in stride. Travon is a QB who can make the throws, a smart decision maker with the ball, makes plays, and just wins games. He is a must addition to the rankings with the year he put together and more colleges need to check him out.
