flashes a complete tool set that evaluators look for in a high school cornerback prospect. On film, he shows the ability to lock up in tight man-to-man coverage, while also displaying strong zone awareness that led to timely plays on the ball, including an interception. His willingness and ability to tackle in the open field further highlight his all-around defensive value.
Beyond defense, Jackson’s athleticism and ball skills translate on offense and special teams, highlighting his versatility and playmaking upside. That well-rounded profile has not gone unnoticed on the recruiting trail, as he currently holds nine offers, most recently adding South Florida and UMass earlier this month. With his blend of coverage skills, physicality, and multi-phase impact, Jackson continues to establish himself as one of the more complete defensive back prospects in his class.

Jackson was everywhere. He broke tackles on a rushing touchdown, converted a two-point try, and later turned a bubble screen into a highlight-reel touchdown by weaving through three defenders. On defense, he broke up passes and tackled effectively in space, while on special teams, he capped Rodriguez’s blocked punt with a recovery for a touchdown. A true three-phase star who set the tone all night.

Jackson has already put himself on the map of the recruiting world. His early offers include Maryland, Howard, UNC, Toledo, and Syracuse. I agree with his self-assessment of being a Swiss-army knife. He can play strong safety, cornerback, and nickel cornerback. Jackson’s range and ability to play deep like a centerfield and make plays stands out. His football IQ for his age is impressive. The ability to recognize route combos and reading the quarterbacks eyes in a quick manner is impressive.

Jackson Poised for Breakout Senior Season After Strong Junior Campaign
Jackson put together a solid sophomore season, making a significant impact on the defensive side of the ball with his lockdown zone coverage and impressive closing speed. He finished the year with 18 tackles and 2 interceptions, one of which came in the state championship game, showcasing his ability to rise to the moment.
After adjusting to the speed of the varsity game as a sophomore, Jackson has developed into a reliable presence in the secondary. He excels in zone coverage from his safety position and has also shown versatility by rotating into the nickel spot in certain defensive packages.
With another year of growth and experience, Jackson is primed for a breakout junior season.
