Commitment Flip: Connington de-committed from Boise State and flipped his commitment to Oregon State last month. This is a big time get for the beavers as Connington is one of the top punters in the entire country, and should fit in quickly for Oregon State and push for the starting job.

Connington is one of the top kicker in the class of 2024 coming in ranking by Kohls Kicking as the number 3 kicker in the country. With an absolute cannon for a leg Connington had a touchback on every kick except for two last season. During his junior year he converted 16 for 21 field goals from a variety of different distances and was a perfect 46 for 46 on his point after touchdown attempts. He has offers from almost every school in the country and if you having been able to see him kick then you are missing out as he has some of the most impressive range we have seen.

Connington was the best kicker in the state with 14-of-20 field goals and sent every kickoff but one for a touchback. He is one of the most consistent kickers we have ever seen. Along with his ability to absolutely destroy the ball from kick off to field goals he also averaged 39 yard per punt. He already has an offer from Boise State and should be one of the most highly recruited kickers in the country
