Starkel is a put together offensive lineman coming in around 6’2 and 270 lbs. An interior mauler that has quick feet that allows him to get a step on players who are smaller than him and helps him with players who may have size or strength. Has a natural tenacity about him that shows up on film with a high football IQ. You can see that he is able to really communicate across the offensive line and uses great angles in the run game. Has a strong interior punch that allows him to knock back bigger defenders and absolutely destroy smaller ones. Really runs his feet on contact with the ability to get to the second level and pull with efficiency. Has the ability to anchor in the pass game against defensive tackles and stop them at the line of scrimmage. Doesn’t get beat often in the interior. Should be ready to go for a big senior year with on of the top teams in the entire state.
