Wilson is one of the smoothest route runners across the region and is coming off a very productive Junior season for Mountain View. He can create seperation downfield, has excellent hands and tracking abilities over the top and when making contested catches and shows he can get in the blind spot before breaking off his routes while very technically sound in and out of his breaks. He is physical when blocking on the perimeter and can box out smaller defenders when making a play on jump balls and is a no-brainer D2/NAIA player that should draw plenty of D3 and Frontier Conference interest through his final prep season.

Wilson checks into our rankings as the number two wide receiver in this class, and just inside the top fifteen overall. He has plenty of Varsity experience heading into his Junior season, and is one of the top offensive weapons in the state in the 2027 class. Wilson is a natural route runner that can stretch the field vertically and shows high-point abilities and strong hands in traffic. He knows how to settle against zone coverage and quickly knife up-field while tough to bring down in open space due to his short area wiggle and physicality with the ball in his hands. He’s quick in and out of his breaks and can create separation against man coverage and already has a diverse toolbox as a sophomore.
