Hollifield is going to be a really good player for Mountain View as he show maturity beyond his age. Maneuvers in the pocket really well with the ability to slide quickly and make defenders miss while keeping his eyes downfield. High football IQ that shows up in the quick reads that he makes and the timing of his throws. He anticipates windows and throws a really catchable football that leads to yards after the catch.
Hollifield had a monster freshman season at powerhouse Mountain View where he impressed us with his accuracy. A player that rarely misses and doesnt really make a ton of mistakes. You can see him work through his progressions with ease on film and make the right throw following. Has really smooth mechanics and shows great leadership ability. Has a chance to be really good in coming years and will be a name to watch.
Hollifield had a very productive season for Mountain View, and is one of the top up and coming signal callers across Idaho who should be a well known name in the coming years. He is very athletic in the pocket with a strong downfield arm for his age, and shows he can air it out over the top and throw his receivers open downfield while feeling out pressure well in the pocket. When scrambling, he welcomes contact and is tough to bring down in the open field, and is not afraid to stick in the pocket and take a shot in order to deliver the ball. He also shows that he can throw both in-breaking and outbreaking routes, and scans the field quickly while not afraid to step into his throws and fit the ball into tight windows.
