Madden lined up at safety for the Raptors. He’s a twitchy safety who has excellent ball skills. What really excited me was that he showed me elite P4 type of closing speed and ball skills. Those traits especially showed up on a Winton Woods pass play where Madden closed on an outbreaking play dove and knocked down a well placed throw that had some zip on it. He has a chance not just to be a good free safety at the next level, but one that can excel at taking the ball away on the P4 level. Those are highly coveted players for college Defensive Coordinators. Madden has P4 offers from Indiana and Kentucky, along with a handful of G5 schools. I would be shocked with his junior film, though if he does not pick up more P4 offers this offseason.
