If you’re looking for the next two-way breakout star for Carl Albert, we think we might have found the guy. Junior Makauri Johnson Makauri Johnson 6'3" | ATH Carl Albert | 2027 State OK checks just about every box necessary when it comes to the eye test. We caught Johnson in person during the spring and we immediately started asking questions. So did the college coaches in attendance. Carl Albert’s coaches believe the ceiling is higher for Johnson on defense. But there’s no doubt that he has the potential to be a breakout star for the Titans on both sides of the ball. Johnson has good size, athleticism and just needs the opportunity for more playing time to put some solid film out there. This could be a big season for Johnson.
