About Mahkai

How would you briefly describe your gameplay style?

I can move very very well for my size, I have a really violent punch which I showcased at the NPshowcase on APR 26, and you can see that on my film all throughout. I play fast and I have the athletic ability to play inside or outside on the edge. I can hold double teams well and stuff the A gap, you can see it on the film as well, and almost every pass play I will be applying pressure on the qb

Can you provide a brief description of your mentality or personality?

Outside of the sport of football I’m not an outspoken man, I’m an observer in rooms that I am in. I am a family guy as they are most important to me. I’m kind to all people nobody could say other wise. I know how to flip that switch when I step out on the field.

Are you involved in any clubs, organizations, or have you received any non-sport awards?

In high school I’ve received academic honors.

What skills or qualities have you developed, such as leadership, teamwork, or community service?

Teamwork for sure, the program at my high school prioritizes culture, and bonding, they constantly help me grow in all aspects but definitely team work.

Have you faced any significant challenges? If so, please describe.

Following me freshman season, I broke my tibia, this caused me to miss out on my whole sophomore campaign. This also affected my academics, as I wasn’t in school my sophomore year as well, junior year I bounced back and balled out, it was a little rough getting back into my academics, but I’m growing every day.

What type of college are you looking for?

Preferably close to home, somewhere on the west coast, I can see my self in the Big Sky Conference, my brother is in it now at NAU, so im familiar with the conference already. And I think that would be a perfect fit for me.
