Coleman is one of the top tacklers in Southern California and has been one of the best at his position for quite some time now. He flys around and is always near the ball, showing closing speed/good change of direction and packs a punch at the point of attack when he fits into the backfield. He’s a highly instinctual player that has a nose for the football and can quickly get off blocks, apply pressure from various angles and checks a lot of boxes for the inside linebacker position in college. He has been flying under the radar up to this point and is another kid that should start drawing plenty of college attention soon enough.

Coleman is already one of the top inside linebacker prospects across California after his first season for the Pumas and is a no brainer to crack into our ranks in the next update at the linebacker position. He is very athletic, has good closing speed and covers a ton of ground in open space while able to tackle in the box and quickly get into the backfield and make plays behind the LOS. He is a high motor and pursuit kid that will have a huge Sophomore campaign for one of the better programs in all of Southern California and should be closing in on his first offer sooner rather than later.

Coleman is one of the more active Freshmen linebackers in the state, and is only going to continue and develop into a no brainer college caliber player at the second level with plus athleticism. He is a high motor kid that fly’s around and is seemingly always around the ball from his outside linebacker position and is a good open field tackler in the flats/backfield. He shows the ability to quickly get into the backfield, bend around blockers and closes the pocket in a hurry while playing with relentless pursuit of the ball at all times. Look for Coleman to make a big jump in his Sophomore season for the Pumas, as they have a long tradition of developing elite defensive players, especially at the second level.
