Sawyer-Mahoe was a breakout defender for the 4A state runners-up in 2025. The 6’2″/210 linebacker posted 50 tackles and 7 TFLs in his junior campaign. He’s a physical athlete that’s violent at the POA and shows his range and athleticism in coverage. He looks to punish receivers coming across the middle, can shed and make stops in the run game, and is highly disruptive as a downhill attacker. Sawyer-Mahoe ranks as the #3-LB in PRZ NV’s 2027 rankings.

Sawyer-Mahoe’s a rising LB/TE out of Pinecrest Academy Sloan Canyon that could be on the verge of a breakout junior season. He was a new addition to the PRZ NV 2027 rankings back in January and moved up from the watchlist to the official rankings with the impressive offseason performances he’s put together in recent months. Has shown promising upside in his frame (6’1″/205), athleticism, and ball skills as a TE on the 7v7 circuit that should translate well to the defensive side of the ball.
