The 6’/190 safety out of Sloan Canyon put together a productive junior campaign in his first season with the Pirates posting 46 tackles, 6 TFLs, and 1 INT. He’s a big, physical defender in the secondary that can tackle and close on the ball. Kipapa will be one of the top returners for the Sloan Canyon defense this fall.

Kipapa has been turning heads throughout the offseason 7-on-7 circuit and camp settings with his physical coverage, instincts, and willingness to compete at the catch point. His recent performances earned him an invite to the UA Next Camp Series stop in Salt Lake City, another opportunity to showcase his skillset against top regional talent. With his size, physicality, and continued offseason momentum, Kipapa is beginning to draw legitimate Division I attention as a defensive back to monitor in Nevada’s 2027 class.
