Johnson was a breakout defender in the Sloan Canyon secondary totaling 16 solo tackles and 3 INTs on the season. The 5’8″/160 CB is a fast, twitched-up playmaker with high level breaking speed and short-area quickness. He plays physical in press-man jamming WRs at the LOS, is smooth and fluid in the hips changing directions, and can tackle in space on the perimeter. Johnson has elite athletic traits that could see him recruited as a future nickel CB depending on how he continues to grow and develop physically.
