Even though National Tight End Day was last Sunday, Kai Goetze Kai Goetze 6'3" | 230 lbs | TE Pine Creek | 2024 State CO deserves to be celebrated everyday within the Eagles program as he’s the definition of steady. Although he is more than capable in the passing game, he is a dominant run blocker and has been a big reason why Pine Creek has rushed for more than 2,000 yards on the year.

There were high expectations for Goetze heading into his junior season, and he did not disappoint. He showed his strength and physicality as an integral blocker for a potent run offense. His quickness off the ball helps him get to the defender and initiate contact while keeping his feet moving to maintain leverage and win the rep. Goetze initially popped up on the radar because of his athletic ability as a receiver, but his talents as a blocker in the run game make him a well-rounded player.
