Expert Analysis
Matt Tate | Prep Redzone Scout
Fella is an underrated prospect, but man can he play. Measures in at 5’10 205 pounds. He has very good athletic ability due to very good change of direction, lateral agility, speed, good acceleration and jumping. Pine Creek uses his athletic ability to prowl the field, whether as a QB spy, rushing the QB, or out in a zone. He has the athletic ability to cover tight ends out in space. Very good mental processing and reaction time. He watches the QB’s eyes, and attacks. If it’s a run play, he stuffs the gap and shows off his very good tackling and run support ability. He also will try to punch the ball out of the offensive player’s hands. Fella has a relentless pursuit and very good competitive toughness. He doesn’t give until the play is finished. Keep an eye on this young Fella.

Fella measures in at 5’10 205 pounds. He has very good athletic ability due to very good change of direction, speed, and good acceleration. He has the athletic ability to be a QB spy or out in zone covering tight ends. Fella runs with a head full of steam, and doesn’t stop till his target is tackled. He is consistently aware of where the ball is. When there’s a fumble, he’s there to grab it. Very good mental processing. He keeps trying to hit the ball out of the ball carrier’s hands, leading to fumbles. Very good strength and very good pursuit. Fella is a good block shedder and tackler. He is consistently making a presence on the field, and I expect that to continue going into next season.

. Fella measures in at 5’9 185 pounds and plays inside linebacker for Pine Creek. Fella has good athletic ability due to good speed, acceleration, change of direction, and balance. Good mental processing too. Fella showed the ability to identify the gaps in the OL and rush them. In zone coverage, he would follow the QB’s eyes leading him to a tackle. An aspect that stood out to me, was he tried to rip the ball out of the RB’s hand multiple times. I’m expecting to see some fumbles caused by that this upcoming season. He is a good block shedder, eating blocks up to stuff the run. Fella tackles towards the ballcarrier’s center of gravity. He runs with a head full of steam, and will hit unexpecting defenders hard and with force. He showed very good competitive toughness throughout his play. Using his high motor, he would help teammates finish tackles, or run to the other side of the field to make the tackle. I’m excited to see more of Fella develop as a linebacker over the course of the upcoming season.
