About Jackson

How would you briefly describe your gameplay style?

As a Captain, I know my actions set the tone for the rest of my team. I play smart, aggressive and adaptable.

Can you provide a brief description of your mentality or personality?

I’m a student of the game. I watch film and practice at peak levels 18plus hours a week so I can play fast and instinctually for 60 minutes. My O-line depends on me to read the defense and put them into an advantage to win every snap.

Are you involved in any clubs, organizations, or have you received any non-sport awards?

I’m in the Fellowship of Christian Athletes, Future Business Leaders of America, Honor Roll, and ASL Honor Society. I've been awarded 1st Team Academic All-State.

What skills or qualities have you developed, such as leadership, teamwork, or community service?

The three organizations(FCA, FBLA, ASLHS) have helped me to grow as a person of faith, learn to be a servant leader with clearer vision, and to gain perspective for those who face challenges different than my own.

Minton is a powerful center for Pine Creek. He measures in at 6’2 265-pounds. Minton has very good initial quickness out his stance with his hand speed. He maintains a low pad level due to his good knee bend, very good flexibility and balance. Very good strength. Very good hand placement and hand strength to control and steer his opponent at will. Very powerful grip. Minton has good foot quickness as well. Good speed from 1st to 2nd level blocks and creates blocks on the perimeter for the screen game. Good anchor and very good pull blocking. I’m excited to see how Minton does this upcoming season !
