Justus Wertzler Justus Wertzler 6'2" | 205 lbs | QB Woodford County | 2025 State KY is a quarterback who has improved his stock in a big way this offseason. As a junior, Wertzler completed 54/105 passes for 915 yards, nine touchdowns, and two interceptions in 10 games. He has been very impressive in the camp circuit this summer, showing off his arm strength which he uses to lead his receivers down the field in the deep passing game. Wertzler also has great pocket mobility, showing the ability to maneuver in the pocket and escape when needed while keeping his eyes down the field to find an open receiver. He has also shown the ability to make plays as a ball carrier, finishing his junior season with 44 carries for 248 yards and two touchdowns. Justus currently holds offers from Presbyterian and Kentucky Wesleyan, and I expect more to come his way as he definitely has the talent to play quarterback at the next level.

Wertzler took home the “Quickest Release” award on Saturday, showing the ability to get the ball out of his hands with a sense of urgency while maintaining strength and accuracy in his throws. He is also an impressive athlete with smooth footwork showing the ability to maneuver around the pocket with ease and also make throws on the run. Justus currently holds an offer from Presbyterian College and I expect more to come his way as he is a true Division I caliber quarterback.

Justus Wertzler Justus Wertzler 6'2" | 205 lbs | QB Woodford County | 2025 State KY is a quarterback who caught my attention with an impressive performance on Saturday. He stood out the most when throwing the deep ball. Wertzler displayed a cannon for arm which he used to lead his receivers down the field on deep routes. He also showed an impressive quick release on short passes, hitting receivers out of their breaks with ease. Wertzler recently picked up his first offer from Presbyterian College and I expect more to come his way as he has the talent to play at the next level.
