Saunders primarily plays in the nickel role, often guarding Zs, Fs, or slots where he makes it look easy out there. Saunders is a run defense guru, always stays in his lane, quick to the ball carrier when recognizing the run, and physical at the POA of the ball carrier. In coverage, Saunders plays long using length to his advantage to break up passes. Saunders earned his first division 1 offer to Akron, this past winter, and I expect more to follow suit soon.
