6’3, 190, 3.7 GPA. One of the few ATHs where WR is clearly the best fit. 40+ receptions, 850+ yards, and 14 touchdowns is real production. Downfield threat who also blocks at a high level. First-team all-conference honors back it up. Can play DB, but WR is the future. Frame and skill set translate cleanly. This is an FBS-caliber WR for the right system. Production meets projection here. One of the better receivers in this range. Easy FCS+ evaluation. Ceiling depends on continued refinement.

is a matchup nightmare. Standing at 6’2”, he fits the theme of big “head top” receivers. When he’s lined up at the X, his get-off and release package is quick and snappy. But the best aspect of his game is his strong hands and physicality at the POA. There are clips where he’s securing 50/50 balls that are really 10/90 balls. The first clip of his film is an acrobatic grab on the head of a defender. Melvin is a pure threat out there for the receiver position, and he will continue to grow into his game in his junior year.

3.7 GPA. 6’2, 177 pounds. Recently came off our Watch list. Below is what I wrote about him in a post released just two days ago.

6’2, 177 pounds. 3.7 GPA. Fantastic build, can argue it’s the best build on this list, one that fully encompasses what Division One WR coaches look for. First rep on tape has Melvin striding past defenders and high-pointing a ball. Melvin gets his elbows above the defenders helmet on this leap. Good rep showcasing his body control ability, as well as some hand-eye coordination skills. This is an FBS capable pass-catcher, so long as he continues to trend in the right direction. Melvin will have to combat 1A ball skeptics.
