Anthony Evans has mastered the free safety position. He has shown in his film that he is good at stopping the run. He does a nice job of coming upfield and making tackles in the open field. He also does a good job in coverage. He shows an excellent ability to play deep zone and make plays on the ball. Evans is a good free safety who plays it at a high level.

- Might have played basketball at Bishop Canevin at some point, this according to Evans Jr.’s Hudl. 5’11, 160 pounds. 3.2 GPA. Specializes as a DB. His single-game tapes caught my eye on X, created his profile after watching his Week 3 tape.
- Posted a five-week, two-minute-long tape on Hudl on the same day of writing. First rep on tape is a good one. Evans Jr. can be witnessed covering a much bigger target who runs a curl in front of his safety spot, with Evans crashing down to create a PBU. Has a good sense of offensive play/traffic flow, good play recognition, can flip from pass cover man to run supporter relatively quickly. Fills the alley well, works outside-in when coming down to slow/stop runs. LB mentality at safety, a special teams contributor, too. Excited to see more.
