Before announcing his commitment on February 19th, Williams posted his top five via 247Sports, with PSU, Wisconsin, and Michigan making the cut. Yet, it was Stanford that would land the top three PA OL. Been a long journey covering this young stud, we will continue to support for years to come.

Very similar statures, very similar interests, very similar skill sets to their names. One thing that hasn’t aligned between Imhotep’s Zafir Stewart Zafir Stewart 6'5" | 330 lbs | OL Imhotep | 2024 State PA and Haverford’s Joshua Williams Joshua Williams 6'5" | 300 lbs | OL The Haverford School | 2025 State PA is recruitment status. Zafir released a top three dating back to February of this year, leaving Rutgers, Nebraska, and Penn State as his lasting options. Illinois has recently offered the Imhotep 3-star.

Standing at 6’4, 300 pounds, Haverford’s Joshua Williams Joshua Williams 6'5" | 300 lbs | OL The Haverford School | 2025 State PA projects similarly, although Williams might be kept inside the OL unit, although being capable of tackle responsibilities if need be. Joshua Williams Joshua Williams 6'5" | 300 lbs | OL The Haverford School | 2025 State PA is finally beginning to see Power Five traction, recently earning an offer from Boston College. I fully expect Williams to reach the same status Stewart has reached by this time next year, with Rutgers, Temple, and other local FBS programs eventually pulling the trigger. There’s a lot to like concerning both prospects.

The  Haverford School continues to produce top end offensive line talent and Williams is the next in that line. He has by far the best athleticism of any offensive lineman of his size in the state and has to be up there across the country, as he recorded a 13 second 100-meter dash last summer. It’s not too late to get involved here either. Definite chance to be a Power Five offensive linemen but at the very least should find himself with a strong Group of Five program.

There might be just one single prospect in this class that I believe has a legitimate shot at surmounting Kahlil Williams Kahlil Williams 6'1" | 240 lbs | DL Souderton | 2024 State PA as the class’s top lineman. That being Joshua Williams Joshua Williams 6'5" | 300 lbs | OL The Haverford School | 2025 State PA out of the Haverford School, just outside of Philadelphia. Anyone who has talked to me about this young man knows how enamored I am with his game. His athleticism at his height and weight should have colleges lining up outside of his door. Williams is relatively quiet on socials, which is okay. He was also a bit late on releasing his full tape, again, not a huge deal. I’d call him offseason relatively quiet solely from my outside perspective. That being said, there’s no doubting this young man is working on his craft. We all remember his 13-second 100M dash, I know he has more wow moments left to show off. I’ll continue screaming this kid’s name from the mountaintops.
