The twin brother of Preston Bernard Preston Bernard 6'3" | 295 lbs | OL The Haverford School | 2027 State PA is just as talented as his brother. Both brothers had an exceptional Freshman year. Owen started every game like his brother Preston did. He played left guard and also jumped in and played center at times. Owen is a talented offensive lineman as well.

Owen Bernard Owen Bernard 6'3" | 295 lbs | OL The Haverford School | 2027 State PA was really smooth as a blocker, he did a really good job of keeping a strong base against pass rush moves. He did really well moving with, and mirroring, Defensive Lineman on spins/swims. The only “knock” on Bernard, is that he had more difficulty the bigger, heavier interior guys who depended on their mass and weight. However, if a Defensive Lineman did not come with a strong, bullrush type of rep, Bernard handled them quite easily. The word technician comes to mind when describing him.

One look at his take and you can quickly see that Bernard is a mauler. He’s got the “dog in him” that the good ones develop early. He gets into the defender quickly, locks on and doesn’t stop until he pancakes him. He has a strong frame, the quickness to pull and does a good job keeping his feet moving. As he continues to grow and get strong he could become one of the top prospects along the line in the Keystone State in the coming years.
