now sits at No. 70 in an expanded rankings pool after a slight drop in overall grade. At 6’3.5, 220 pounds with a 3.5 GPA, Talley remains one of the top five tight end prospects in Pennsylvania’s 2028 class. A wrestler by trade, he has recently visited both Rutgers and Syracuse despite remaining unoffered. I still believe Talley is an FBS-level TE/DE prospect even if recruiting has not fully caught up to that evaluation yet. Patience is required here because the interest exists even if the offer sheet does not reflect it today. This ranking is lower than before, but I have not given up on the long-term projection. Talley remains one of the more intriguing recruiting evaluations in the class. The next few months should tell us whether this ranking holds or begins trending upward again.

is an outstanding prospect as a defensive player and as a tight end. On defense, he is a match-up nightmare for offenses. He played last season as a linebacker and as an edge defender. At both positions, he was all over the field making plays. As a linebacker, he shows a good ability to run sideline to sideline chasing plays. As an edge defender, he gets off the ball quickly as he makes plays in the offensive backfield. As a tight end, he is a good blocker. He is good at blocking edge defenders and driving them off the ball. He then does a good job of catching the ball when he runs routes. He has good hands. Talley is an excellent two-way player.
🎥 Sophomore Season Highlights '25 🎥 Grateful for the opportunity to grow and contribute this year. Huge thank you to my coaches and teammates for believing in me and pushing me every day—you made this season unforgettable! 💪#GoFords @sixstarfootballp@coachGuynes… pic.twitter.com/62u6Vs8jHp
At 6’3” and 215 pounds, Talley is a varsity wrestler whose stock is steadily rising from multiple vantage points. Having met him in person and seen his build firsthand, I can attest to the physical tools already in place. Combined with the coaching/guidance he’s receiving at The Haverford School and additional work behind the scenes, there’s every reason to believe his frame will continue to develop in a way that will catch the attention of next-level recruiters, on top of helping him perform well at TE and/or LB.
Projections and looking good in pads will only get a prospect so far, Talley is going to have to prove his worth on a loaded program filled with equally promising talent. I imagine Talley will find the LB position a bit easier to adapt to, yet he’s currently ranked as the top TE prospect in what is an early/premature TE state-wide list. Excited to see how he’s grown as a football player this Fall.

has no film from last year that I could find, but I saw some of his camp footage, and you can see the talent in him. His size (6’3″) and athletic ability are impressive. He can fire off the ball and create separation as a tight end. He also showed good hands as he caught the ball well. He also stands out as someone who can play as an edge or linebacker on defense. Talley is an impressive prospect that I could see excelling next year.
Had an incredible time competing at Rutgers Football Camp yesterday! A huge thank you to all the coaches and staff for your dedication, hard work, and excellent instruction. Looking forward to seeing you all again in the future!#Chop@CoachValloneRU@CoachSparber @PRZPAvic… pic.twitter.com/b88l2n96LL
