John Caufield John Caufield 6'0" | 205 lbs | DB Monsignor Farrell | 2023 State NY is a really solid defensive back who earned second team all-state honors for class AA. Caufield played both RB and Safety for Monsignor Farrell and excelled on both sides of the ball. However, as a defender Caufield was one of the best in the NYCHSFL. Caufield is both a strong tackler from the safety position but also does a good job of performing his zone responsibilities and matching up 1v1 in man coverage. Caufield is a really good athlete with solid size and really good instincts. A well rounded player like Caufield is one of the most consistent well rounded players in this recruiting class. A recent offer from Lock Haven was a result of a strong senior season for Caufield.
