Cory Lemer | Prep Redzone Scout
Palazzola was feared by Fordham Prep. The Lions EDGE, had multiple tackles, and defensive stops throughout the first half.
His footwork, and burst of the line, were evident throughout the game. Palazzola, displayed great hand placement, and a good tool bag of moves to shed off blocks, I liked what I saw from the Senior Rusher, as he showcased elite pass rushing abilities throughoutt the game.

Palazzola is the first of two EDGE rushers showcased for Monsignor Farrell this fall. Standing at 6’1″ 215 pounds, he displays a solid build for the EDGE position.
Palazzola is one of the more athletic rushers in the state. He can play multiple positions on the line and does so with success. He has good body control and uses his strength and size paired with his tool bag of moves to dip past lineman or straight up run through them. He is a good gap closer and uses his physicality to shed blocks with ease.
Palazzola is an impressive playmaker for the Monsignor Farrell team. He will likely be the defensive MVP this fall and with continued success we can see offers role in for the versatile D-lineman.

Big-time edge player that can be moved all around the line of scrimmage, lining up rushing from the 5, 3, and even 0 techniques. To add, when rushing off the edge, Palazzola does utilize a dip move to get around OTs. For that reason, his play strength was a big point of emphasis in allowing him to be so successful in block shedding. There is no fear in attacking the run game, as he will close on gaps to make TFLs.
