Coming out of the Empire State, Danny Guerrera is headed to Monsignor Farrell in Staten Island. The one rep of Guerrera’s that I managed to catch was during the competition phase of the event. Running a vertical route out of the backfield, Guerrera proved to be a sneaky-savvy route runner. At the top of his route, Guerrera won with the most subtle of push offs to create separation. I caught it because my eyes were on him for that rep, but would an official?

- Guerrera is a mother future Lion who will join Fezo at Monsignor Farrell next season. The talented RB, wore #108 during the afternoon this past weekend.
Guerrera is a prospect who has an elite ceiling. He is a quick shifty and agile with his footwork. He was fast during the 40s, and I liked watching him work in 1v1s. He got good separation and was quick off the line, showing he can be used as a pass game threat.

New York’s Danny Guerrera was a back that got better and better throughout the day, and by the end of it, was in the conversation for MVP honors as well. Danny’s quick footwork and bouncy change of direction makes him elusive in space, allowing him to string moves together without sacrificing speed. While he is an effective ball carrier, his future may be even brighter as a slot receiver. Danny was the most polished route runner at the event out of the RBs, creating easy separation with crisp, sudden breaks that left linebackers stunned in place. If he continues to develop as a pass catcher, he has all the traits to become a dangerous weapon out of the slot.

Guerrera is one of two Crown Jewels the Staten Island squad pulled as part of their 2030 Class. The 5’7″ 150-Pound RB, is hailed as one of the top future ball carriers in the state, and given this title, I am curious on how the future lion will perform this weekend.

Another running back to watch at the “RIZE” in New Jersey is Danny Guerrera. He has the ability to run the ball and do it well. He has a great deal of balance, vision and has some speed to break away at the position. I really believe he is someone who can stand out in New Jersey for the “RIZE” He is a guy who can really make noise and is a stud player out of the 2030 class in New York!

. The Monsignor Farrell incoming Freshman, will be competing at the underclassmen challenge, and is deemed one of the top backs in the Tri-State Area. Standing at 5’7″ 150-Pounds, he displays a solid build early on for a RB Prospect. He displays good body control, along with quick footwork. He has a high IQ, which allows him to make sharp cuts and changes to his direction. I like his vision, and sees the whole field well. Guerrera is a solid prospect who easily can make noise for the Lions.
