His tall, rangy frame immediately stands out, but it was the way he paired those physical tools with instinctive play that really separated him. He consistently closed ground in a hurry, tracking down ball carriers from the backside while showing the range to make plays all over the field. Fezo has the length, athleticism, and instincts to develop into one of New York’s more intriguing linebacker prospects.

Fezo Ivackovic showed that he might just have the potential to be a very productive two-way linebacker in high school. The MTCA all-star was aggressive when he defended the pass, swiping and playing through the ball. Additionally, he laid a more-than-solid pop on receivers over the middle, interrupting their timing and routes in the process.

His closing speed stood out early on in the day, giving him the ability to track down ball carriers from the backside and erase plays in pursuit. Just as impressive was Fezo’s football IQ, as he consistently recognized routes early and positioned himself well in coverage. That combination of length, instincts, and range gives him plenty of upside in the state of New York.

Ivackovic suited up at the LB position for The Rize, but he is a true unicorn who can play just about everywhere on the field. He was a strong pass coverage LB, and during the 7v7 portion, he sat tall in Zone, and had good press knocking receivers off the top of their routes and out of position.
