He does a great job of opening up and using his speed to mirror opposing receivers’ routes with ease. When the ball is thrown his way, he does a great job of reacting with perfect timing to make a play on the ball, breaking up 15 passes in 14 games this past season. He also recorded 24 tackles and made an impact on offense at receiver, catching 13 passes for 275 yards and three touchdowns. Jeremiah holds an offer from Grambling State and I wouldn’t be surprised to see more come his way soon.

He has shown the physicality to jam receivers followed by the speed to mirror their routes with ease. When the ball is thrown his way, he has shown the ability to react with perfect timing to make a play. Burbage finished his freshman year with one interception and several pass breakups in 11 games. He also finished this past season with 17 tackles and caught two passes for 26 yards. Burbage doesn’t currently hold any offers but he will be a player to watch as his role continues to grow on both sides of the ball.

Burbage saw some varsity time as a freshman, mainly on the defensive side of the ball, where he lined up on the outside at corner. He is very impressive in man coverage, showing the ability to open up and run with receivers to mirror their routes. When the ball is thrown his way, he has shown the ability to react with perfect timing to make a play on the ball, finishing this past season with one interception and multiple pass breakups in 11 games. He also finished the year with 17 tackles and saw some action at receiver, catching two passes for 26 yards. Jeremiah should be a player to keep an eye on as he continues to develop.

. The 6-foot, 160-pound athlete (unconfirmed) has some promising versatility in his game, having lined up everywhere from wide receiver to defensive end to outside linebacker and other positions. The Burbage football pedigree is a strong one, as his father (Cornell) played professionally for nine years and his older brother (Jalen) is currently third on the team in both receptions and yards at Eastern Kentucky University.
