As a receiver, he has the speed to blow by opposing defensive backs with ease. When taking carries out of the backfield, Gray has shown the elusiveness to make defenders miss in the open field. He finished his freshman year with 38 carries for 236 yards and three touchdowns along with nine receptions for 138 yards in 12 games. Gray also returned one kickoff for a touchdown as a freshman and made an impact on defense, finishing the year with 13 tackles and an interception. Paxton doesn’t currently hold any offers but he is a player who college coaches should keep a close eye on over the next few years.

Gray has explosive speed which he uses to run away from the defense on long runs. He also has the elusiveness to make defenders miss in the open field. Paxton also showed the ability to line up in the slot and make plays in the passing game, catching nine passes for 138 yards as a freshman. He also returned one kickoff for a touchdown, and made an impact on defense, finishing the year with 13 tackles and one interception. Paxton will be a player to continue to keep an eye on over the next few years.
