Arapahoe’s offense will rely heavily on Tackitt to set the tone early as they look to keep pace with Fairview’s high-powered attack. Tackitt has been a steady contributor all year, rushing for 650 yards and seven touchdowns while showing the ability to grind out tough yards between the tackles. His physical running style and patience allow him to keep drives alive and control the game’s tempo. After last week’s shootout, Arapahoe needs Tackitt to slow things down and establish balance on offense. He’s a back who thrives when the game becomes a battle of endurance and his performance could determine how long Arapahoe stays in contention against a dangerous opponent.

Tackitt had a behemoth of a game against Westminster. The 5’10 180-pound running back had 23 carries for 330 yards and 4 touchdowns. Tackitt has very good athletic ability due to very good speed, balance, good acceleration, and change of direction. He’s a slippery elusive back. He uses his very good vision to weave through the defense. Very good inside and outside runner. Tackitt glides through the defense making defenders miss with his jump cuts. He’ll gain extra yards by bouncing off of defenders, or regaining his balance when he starts to stumble. Tackitt got a lot of yards after contact against Westminster. Very impressed with how he punished the defense all night long.

A tough, physical runner, Tackitt has already shown he can be a workhorse near the goal-line and beyond. He rushed for 692 yards and 7 touchdowns last season, showcasing a blend of vision, strength, and long speed. Tackitt reads blocks well, gets skinny, and has the breakaway speed to finish big runs. With a proven stat line and room to grow, he’s a clear stock riser heading into the new year. If he builds on last season’s production, Tackitt will be a name drawing increased interest from college scouts that will put him on the radar.

Tackitt had a standout game on the ground, rushing 16 times for 147 yards and a touchdown. Tackitt’s explosive runs opened up opportunities in the passing game, and his ability to break through to the second level of the defense allowed him to pick up chunk yardage with ease. Averaging nearly 10 yards per carry, Tackitt’s performance was a testament to his vision and burst, as he continually found lanes and powered through defenders. His ability to consistently move the chains made him a crucial asset for his team, and he’ll be a player to watch in the next round. As he looks to duplicate this success, Tackitt’s momentum and dynamic playmaking will be vital for Arapahoe’s offensive success.

Tackitt is an elusive back, and his skills were on full display throughout the event. Tackitt measured in a 5’9″ 160 pounds. His combine stats are as follows: 4.92 40 yard time, 4.41 shuttle time, and a 8’8″ broad jump. Tackitt has a good athletic ability due to very good change of direction, good speed and acceleration. He showed off his shifty feet during the drills, and man can those feet dance! He’s more of an elusive back, but I’ve seen he’ll get his hands dirty and be physical when needed. I’m excited to watch him grow as a player.
