Matt Tate | Prep Redzone Scout
Sieck continues to be un-guardable. The 6’1 205 edge rusher, has 24 total tackles (18 solo, 6 assisted), 6 TFL, 5 sacks, and 1 FR. He has very good athletic ability due to very good acceleration, speed, change of direction, and good balance. Elite initial quickness out of his stance. He instantly engages with the tackle. Very good hand strength and hand placement. Very good hand speed. He runs through the OL with ease. Sieck has a quick twitch to him that is very tough for tackles to take control over. Elite strength. Very good to elite block shedding. He is a monster. Sieck has relentless pursuit and doesn’t give up till the ball carrier is in his grasp. Very good tackler and stops the ball carrier right in their tracks. He is one of the premier edge rushers in Colorado, dominating through the camp circuit this summer. His technique is phenomenal.

Sieck was a nightmare for opposing offenses last season, racking up 14 sacks and 20 tackles for loss, ranking him among the best defensive disruptors in the state. He’s quick off the edge and uses his hands well to shed blocks and collapse the pocket. Sieck’s motor never stops, and he’s consistently in the backfield creating chaos. With interest from Air Force, Kent State, and Northern Colorado, he’s already on some radars, but deserves even more attention. Sieck has the traits of a high level edge rusher who can thrive in multiple schemes. Don’t be surprised if he emerges as a major stock riser this fall.

A dominant edge rusher, Sieck made a significant leap this season, solidifying himself as the top player at his position. A standout at Prep Redzone combines, he has been virtually unguardable, using his pad level and hand technique to shed blocks with ease. His relentless motor and ability to create pressure make him a nightmare for opposing quarterbacks. Sieck posted an eye catching 14 sacks and will look to replicate that success while further cementing his status as one of the state’s premier pass rushers. His ability to collapse gaps and set the edge in the run game sets him apart as an elite talent. His combination of explosiveness and knack for causing chaos has already drawn interest from college programs, and as he continues to dominate, expect his recruiting stock to skyrocket.

When you see him, you immediately think of the Game of Thrones line “Winter is Coming”. Brody wasn’t just a nightmare for opposing running backs and receivers when he had nine solo tackles in the Pine Creek game or when he had seven solo and nine total tackles in the Rock Canyon game. He was a Colorado Avalanche when he recorded three sacks against Douglas County, and the storm didn’t stop there. Brody would go on to have multiple sacks against Heritage (2), Smoky Hill (2), and Eagle Crest (2) to lead all linebackers with 14 in the state.

Listed as a linebacker, Sieck was with the defensive lineman throughout the day. He ended up earning the DL MVP at this event. Sieck used his low pad level to get underneath these looming offensive linemen. Sieck has very good speed and acceleration. He has very good hand placement skills, and very good hand strength needed to control and steer the OL away. Paired with his very good strength, and he was creating mismatches against the offensive line. His tenacity and competitive toughness really stood out to me. Kept getting his all on each play/drill. Sieck showed his coachability in the individual drills. Keep an eye on Sieck to have a breakout season in 2025.

Sieck is a player that has been trying to perfect his craft this offseason and will be able to pop onto some radars because of it. He is quick off of the line and has developed some moves to beat blocks and bend the corner in pass rush. He will be a player that will be able to create chaos in the backfield and get the offense off schedule. With his speed he will be able to drop back into coverage as well.
