Size, experience, arm strength, poise, pocket maneuverability, and leadership. At 6’5 235, Theo Lee out of Arapahoe HS possesses a lot of traits you want to see in your D1 collegiate starting quarterback. In his first season as a varsity starter, Lee threw for 2,255 yards averaging 14.7 yds per completion, showing his affinity to push the ball down the field. Lee shows great touch on his deep balls and the arm strength to hit Cover 2 hole shot. He consistently hits receivers on time on intermediate throws 15-20 yards on to the far sideline, a pass that is necessary to have in your arsenal. Built like a TE, Lee isn’t afraid to lower his shoulder when he takes off with the ball in his hands and run through defenders. He shows good rhythm on gun 3 step drops and RPO throws. Lee understands when he has man coverage to put air under the ball and let his WRs go up and get it with the defenders back to the ball. Only a Sophomore, I’d like to challenge Lee’s to have a completion rate of over 60% next season, as he gets more comfortable running the offense, creating rapport with his dynamic WRs and playmakers, and continues to go into his large frame. After a great debut season, I’m excited to see Lee push improve with his last 2 seasons. The D1 talent is evident and I expect a big camp season from Theo Lee out of Arapahoe HS.

Lee is the definition of a gunslinger. He measures in at 6’5 235-pounds. Last season, he went 153/261 for 2255, 58.6% completion rate, 18 TDs, 14 INT, and 5 rushing touchdowns. Lee has very good throw power with a very good release. He has a cannon of an arm and can throw it anywhere on the field. Very good ball placement skills. Lee throws it in stride with the receiver, not letting them lose speed. Good back shoulder throwing as well. Very good pocket presence. Good footwork in the pocket. He’s fearless under pressure and will throw the ball in tight coverage to his man. Lee has good progression speed as well. The one thing I’d like to see Lee improve on is his turnovers. He has a lot of potential. Once he kicks that turnover bug, the sky’s the limit.

Lee is a pocket passer who is very comfortable in the pocket. The 6’4 228-pound sophomore has prototypical size. This season, he has thrown 115/193 for 1556 yards, 59.6% completion rate, 14 TDs, 9 INT. Lee has very good throw power combined with very good release and good touch on his throws. Fluid throwing motion, and quick snappy hips. He makes it easy for the receiver to catch while maintaining his power. Very good ball placement skills. Lee stays very poised under pressure. With 3 defenders in his face, he stood fearless and threw a dot into tight coverage. His eyes are always downfield, looking for an open man and going through his progressions. I believe he will continue his development into an even better passer, and he’s already on the right track.

Lee had a good performance at the Stock Up Showcase. The freshman QB from Arapahoe was slinging it all day. Lee has the prototypical QB body type standing at 6’4 230 pounds. He can take the big hits. Throughout the camp; Lee’s leadership skills were on full display. He was in constant communication with his receivers during the 1 on 1 drills. Lee has very good throw power, using his big arm to meet receivers downfield. He has very good accuracy and ball placement skills. On some out routes, he threw it just outside the receiver, so only they could catch it. Impressive performance from the Arapahoe QB.

Lee is a player that catches your eye with his size, he was Co-QB MVP. He was able to keep your attention with his strong arm and the amount of zip that he has on his passes. He is able to make every throw on the field and has nice touch on intermediate throws.

On paper Lee is one of the biggest 2028 quarterback’s in the country, listing himself at 6-foot-3 and 205 pounds. For reference, Colorado’s Shedeur Sanders is officially listed at 6-foot-2 and 216 pounds, while Colorado State’s Brayden Fowler-Nicolosi is just 6-foot-1 and 205 pounds. Lee also possesses a very strong arm and is your traditional pocket-passer that looks at home standing and scanning the field.
