<p>The 2026 season is right around the corner. There are teams re-loading after championships, others getting fresh new talent, others installing new schemes. While they are all still grinding away for one common goal. A championship. Arapahoe High School is no different. Bringing in talent from across the state to compete for a championship. I believe they can make some noise especially with QB Theo Lee leading the charge (who recently got offered by Colorado). Let's dive into the preview.</p>

<p class="text-gray-700">Lee has a lot of desirable traits for a QB, earning an offer from Colorado. Measures in at 6'5 235-pounds. Last season, he went 153/261 for 2255 yards, 58.6% completion rate, 18 TDs, 14 INT, with 5 rushing touchdowns. Lee exhibits very good throw power and a very quick release. Fluid throwing motion and uses his powerful arm to launch it effortlessly downfield. Very good ball placement skills. Does a great job adjusting with his receiver and placement depending on the situation. He lets it rip while they're in stride for the big play. Lee is a pocket passer and thrives in the pocket. Good progression speed. Very good pocket presence. Uses his quick feet to evade pressure while keeping his eyes downfield. Not afraid of staying a little longer in the pocket to make the accurate throw and taking a hit. I'm very excited to see how he does in his junior season.</p>

<p class="text-gray-700">Rollins measures in at 6'3 210-pounds playing EDGE/LB for Arapahoe. Last season, in limited varsity snaps, he had 6 total tackles (2 solo, 4 assisted), 2 TFL, and 1 sack. Since then, he's gained some more traction on the college circuit as well as earning himself an MVP at the PRZ event this past spring. Rollins has very good athletic ability due to very good lateral quickness, balance, acceleration, and good speed. Explosive out of his stance and a smooth bend around the edge. Very good strength and hand strength to rip through blocks. Maintains a low pad level with his good knee bend and flexibility. Rollins exhibits very good get off speed and good block shedding ability. Smooth swim moves and a good bull rush. Paired with his very good pursuit, he'll run out in open space to get the tackle. Strong tackling ability. I'm intrigued to see how Rollins puts it all together this upcoming season.</p>

<p class="text-gray-700">Bunton is an explosive athlete transferring into Arapahoe. Measures in at 5'8 150-pounds. He had 184 carries for 1185 yards with 21 touchdowns, 31 receptions for 224 yards with 1 touchdown, including 27 kick returns for 540 yards and 1 touchdown. Bunton has very good athletic ability due to elite acceleration, very good balance, speed, change of direction, and good jumping. Bunton has very good vision, weaving through the defense with ease. Very good inside running. He'll pick, slide, and accelerate into the open hole. If it's covered, he'll use his explosive jump cuts to pivot into the open gap. Very good outside running. Once he turns the corner, he uses his home run speed to break free on the perimeter. Bunton makes defenders miss with his juke moves and balance. Bounces off defenders to gain extra yardage. He also is an established catcher with his very good ball tracking and catching. Exciting playmaker for Arapahoe.</p>

<p class="text-gray-700">Shellhorn measures in at 5'11 150-pounds playing CB for Arapahoe. Last season, he had 45 total tackles (36 solo, 9 assisted), 3 TFL, 1 INT, with 15 pass deflections. Shellhorn has good athletic ability due to very good jumping, acceleration, speed, and good change of direction. Displays a good back pedal with good hip fluidity to match receivers breaking off into their route. Good press jam and re-route attempts. Shellhorn thrives in man coverage. He uses his speed to stay stride for stride sticking like glue. Very good closing quickness and timing to create pass deflections or INT. Shellhorn does a great job following through and stripping the ball out creating incompletions. He's also impactable in the run game. Good get off and block shedding to impact the outside run game on the perimeter. Good tackling ability with good strength. Keep an eye on this budding corner.</p>

<p class="text-gray-700">Jaramillo is another explosive athlete in Arapahoe's arsenal, splitting his time at the receiver and running back positions. He measures in at 5'5 150-pounds. Last season, he had 34 carries for 209 yards with 3 touchdowns, 22 receptions for 345 yards with 3 touchdowns, and 8 kick returns for 438 and 3 touchdowns. Jaramillo has very good athletic ability due to very good acceleration, balance, speed, change of direction, and good jumping. Very good vision to pick his way through a defense without getting hit. Very good inside and outside running. Once he reaches the 2nd or 3rd level, he's gone. Gains yards after contact due to shrugging off defenders and making them miss with his juke moves. When he's lined up in the slot, he still thrives. Does a great job against the press jam and shows very good separation quickness due to his athleticism. Very good ball tracking and catching with good ball adjustment skills as well. Jaramillo is a Swiss army knife waiting to be unleashed this season.</p>
