Kevan Burton III was a sure shot to get into the UA All-American game for the following reasons. His contact balance is second to none how he runs with a low center of gravity paired with a strong drive in his lower half. Burton is elusive in and out of holes finishing runs with a rip or stiff arm. You cannot ignore his acceleration once he sees daylight. This young man is a big play threat more times than not with the pigskin tucked in his arms. Film shows how many ways he can be used affectively. RPO, screen, toss, sweep, zone, he has experience in all of these schemes. No wonder he’s flooded with an array of MVP honors at events of his choosing.

– As mentioned above, for whatever reason, there’s a bit of a stigma that surrounding Colorado athletes and that they’re not on the level of athletes in other states. Bunton III and his support system have taken that disrespect personally, so he has traveled around the country attending different events–including our Prep Redzone Next camp in Georgia–and has excelled
– Bunton III is playing for the Colorado Jr. Buffs this year , one of the state’s top youth programs, and has picked up right where he left off from camp season. He’s RB1 on a super talented team with next-level weapons at nearly every position
– The last known verified measurements I saw had Bunton III listed at 5-foot-5 and 150 pounds, but he looks a little taller and certainly 10 pounds heavier with good muscle. When looking for an NFL comparison, think Saquon Barkley with stout size and quickness

Hauling all the way from Colorado, Bunton III was one of the pleasant surprises of camp and improved as the afternoon went on. As far as explosiveness is concerned, Bunton III was among the best in the event despite only being a class of 2028 prospect. The seventh-grader showed off the ability to change direction extremely quickly and efficiently. At times, he left DBs completely in the dust and out of position. For a prospect that traveled across the country to participate, Bunton III certainly turned some heads and was a top performer of camp.
