Navarrete has good athletic ability due to very good lateral quickness, good change of direction, acceleration, speed, and jumping. During both the L-drill and pro-shuttle, he showed his agility and very good balance. Good hand speed and get off speed to disengage from blockers. I was impressed with his coachability at the event. He listened to the coaches, not goofing around, and implemented what was taught. He has very good competitive toughness as well. If he got a beat a rep, he’d come back the next with some extra fire to win it. Good job by the young linebacker.

Navarrete showed flashes of potential throughout the day, particularly during individual drills where his raw talent was evident. He demonstrated the ability to generate pressure using solid hand placement and an aggressive approach at the point of attack. Navarrete showed the ability to disengage blocks with his hands, allowing him to be disruptive in the backfield. While his game still has room to grow, especially in terms of consistency and refining a couple of things. He plays with good effort and flashes athletic traits that can translate well with continued development. With a full offseason in his program, Navarrete has an opportunity to make significant strides in strength, technique and overall confidence. His upside makes him a linebacker to know as he continues to develop into a more complete defensive presence.

Navarrete had a nice outing for the combine. He was tied for 2^nd on wingspan. He has good athletic ability due to good acceleration, speed, and change of direction. He has very good competitive toughness. He kept fighting throughout the event. Jamison has good mental processing and always keeps his eyes on the quarterback. He is a young linebacker with a lot of promise. His coachability and willingness to battle on each snap make him an exciting prospect to watch. Keep an eye on him.

Navarrete initially showed his youth during drills, as he worked through the learning curve of adjusting to the camp’s pace. However, he quickly found his rhythm, displaying raw talent and adaptability. Navarrete demonstrated his potential as a playmaker with soft hands and the ability to break on the ball for interceptions, showcasing excellent anticipation. His ability to process the game will improve with more game reps, giving him the confidence needed to capitalize on his natural athleticism. Navarrete is a player with a high ceiling, poised to make significant strides as he matures.
