Expert Analysis

Williams has had a great spring, which is a huge part of the reason he was moved up over 130 spots in the rankings. It started with a great showing at the VTO 100 and he’s most recently excelled at the CFI Showcases camp in early May. He’s a huge tackle with movement skills and those kind of players don’t grow on trees.

Jamaare has recently transferred to Palisades High School, and they are getting a culture setter up front. Jamaare has had a strong offseason at showcases and continued his impressive work here. Jamaare is a prototypical right tackle who can play with power and stun a charge of defensive linemen who try to bull rush him. Jamaare moves his feet well to stay in front of speed rushers on the edge as well. Jamaare picked up an offer from Fairmont State after his strong performance at the showcase.

I have written about Jamaare a couple of times recently, and I think as more colleges see him up close, he will pick up more recruiting attention and offers. Jamaare is strong physically and has the right attitude when lining up on the line of scrimmage. He can move well from a pass-blocking position at tackle, and he wants to dominate you coming off the ball in the run game. Jamaare has received offers from Alabama A&M, Concord University, and Johnson C. Smith previously, and more should be coming his way soon this summer.

I have seen Jamaare up close at the CFI Winter Showcase, where he was named a Top 5 offensive lineman for his performance. Jamaare really let his personality show at this showcase, and was aggressive throughout the entire day. Jamaare showed good footwork and corrected quickly, taking coaching well and not making the same mistake twice. Jamaare received an offer from Johnson C. Smith University after his impressive combine performance. Jamaare was named Offensive Line MVP.

I observed Jamaare at a recent showcase and thought he performed well overall. The first thing I like about him is his size – at 6’5 and 315 pounds, he’s got the frame to really continue to fill out and develop into an anchor on an offensive line. Jamaare does have some college interest – he has offers from Alabama A&M and Concord University. Jamaare is athletic for his size and can move to mirror speed rushers in his pass-blocking at tackle. Jamaare has a high upside and his best football is ahead of him.
