Sliding into the interior of the DL we find our next MG 2025 standout. The 6’3″ 245 lbs DT has a solid array of tools to win in the trenches with. We see him flash quick hands to win with hand fighting or swim moves. The junior also has solid strength in his lower body to be able to bull rush the IOL into the lap of the QB and wreck havoc. Jacob also brings position versatility to the field. He is also an OG on offense where we see those same tools shine. We see the short area quickness, having instant power at the point of contact, and having quick hands to make initial contact and get effective hand placement. Jacob holds an offer from UW- River Falls and is sure to earn more.

Jacob was a defensive line prospect that popped out to me in our early drills, as one that intrigued me with his fluid athletic movement with his 6’3 235 pound frame. He impressively used his length to his advantage especially when I watched him during Indy drills and into 1v1s. Also into 1v1s, Jacob showed off how well he could maneuver in tight windows of opportunity as I saw his instincts certainly pop out with his balanced body control and quick hands that could get downhill quickly. Those were some key reasons why Jacob was selected in our “Best of the Best” competition, as although I wanted to see more reps out of him in 1v1s he certainly was a prospect that made his reps count during our Prep Redzone Wisconsin Showcase, as he surely looks like a next-level prospect in these eyes.

Jacob is a man in the trenches. The 6’2″ 223 lbs ’25 is a block eater on tape. He takes on single and double teams, yet is still able to hold his ground. Bonjour is developing into a very stout defender against the run. His ability to sink his hips makes him difficult to dig out of the trenches. Jacob also has a very high motor that stands out on tape as he fights off those single and double team blocks to make the tackle at the line of scrimmage. Bonjour has also shown to be more than a stout defender. He has the lateral agility to slide down the line to get to the ball and the range to pursue in space. Jacob is proving to be a name to know.

The 6’3″ 220 lbs sophomore from Monona Grove played both sides of the trenches in 2022. Today, we are going to dive into his defensive play. Jacob is a strong, stout athlete. Despite being 220 lbs, Jacob plays DT. The strength he plays with allows him to. The way he is able to take on double teams and not give up ground is a rare trait for his age and size. When one on one, Bonjour is able to get his hands on, jam the OL, and then lock them out so he has separation to get off the block to make the tackle. As he continues to grow I expect to see his film to continue to become more and more impressive. He is an athlete that deserves to be on the radars of the next level.
