For my first group, I unleashed some of my favorite prospects on the defensive line, as there was PLENTY of next-level talent in this batch of impressive defensive linemen. Time to rock and roll in the defensive trenches!
Jacob was a defensive line prospect that popped out to me in our early drills, as one that intrigued me with his fluid athletic movement with his 6’3 235 pound frame. He impressively used his length to his advantage especially when I watched him during Indy drills and into 1v1s. Also into 1v1s, Jacob showed off how well he could maneuver in tight windows of opportunity as I saw his instincts certainly pop out with his balanced body control and quick hands that could get downhill quickly. Those were some key reasons why Jacob was selected in our “Best of the Best” competition, as although I wanted to see more reps out of him in 1v1s he certainly was a prospect that made his reps count during our Prep Redzone Wisconsin Showcase, as he surely looks like a next-level prospect in these eyes.
Mequon Homestead 2025 defensive end Terron McCall Terron McCall 6’2″ | 240 lbs | DL Homestead | 2025 State WI was another “Best of the Best” competitor that popped out in testing and one that I feel has significant upside going into his senior season. The suppleness Terron showed off at our Prep Redzone Wisconsin Showcase certainly showed off from start to finish on his reps as I was mildly intrigued most with Terron’s elusive first step off the snap which set the tone in his 1v1 reps I got to watch. I also gathered from my first look of Terron the motor this young man has at his disposal, as he also showed off efficent change of direction that matches with what you see out of him on tape as he certainly plays with plenty of range at 6’1 220 pounds that has a burst that gets going quickly with his instincts. He also showed off some agile hands, which with all those skillsets listed, it’s easy to see why he was one of the top performers out of the defensive line group with a bright next-level future.

Grant Manning
Grant was a under the radar 2025 prospect out of Kenosha Indian Trail that showed off a handful of flashes on my notepad from Sunday’s Prep Redzone Wisconsin Showcase. One of the first skillsets that popped out was the speed this young man showed off with his hands as he also showed off the work ethic I like out of my defensive ends in the trenches. He also showed off his athletic mobility in 1v1s and Indy Drills, as I liked the twitch Grant brought to the table using his lower body flexibility with his change of direction in 1v1s against bigger competition. He also passed my eye test with his pad-level on Sunday and at 6’3 210 pounds, this young man has plenty of upside to grow his frame this offseason and continue growing his sound instincts. He shows light next-level interest at the moment, but I certainly see that growing after Sunday in Oak Creek.
Another prospect out of Kenosha that popped out on Sunday was Kenosha St. Joseph 2026 defensive linemen Sincere Williams Sincere Williams 6’1″ | 230 lbs | DL St. Joseph Catholic Academy | 2026 State WI . He popped out very early in my live evaluation in testing, as he showed great athleticism thru his 40-yard dash that I watched in which I could tell later into Indy and 1v1s, how flexible his bend was despite being one of the younger prospects in the defensive line group. At 6’0 230 pounds, Sincere showed off a fluid pad-level and there is certainly more growth in his arsenal to grow it even stronger as I liked how well he attacked the angle of his defenders with his hand placement. He also showed off a catchy downhill motor in 1v1 reps, and those skillsets in mind put him with our top performers for the defensive line in the “Best of the Best” competition at the end of the Prep Redzone Wisconsin Showcase. He might be not the biggest from a measurables standpoint, but I have a feel when he becomes an upperclassmen, Sincere will be a prospect you go outside the measurables threeshold for as he is certainly going to grow his frame with two more years of HS football left at his disposal.

Will was another Monona Grove prospect that cracked our list in this 2025 class of defensive linemen from Sunday and showed out early how strong this young man was with his finish in early testing. He also showed off a very rangy first step off the snap with his dexterity in 1v1s. Coming off the edge, Will showed plenty of finesse in his 1v1 reps, as his agility paid off dividends showing off the motor this young man has as his downhill burst off the snap certainly showed off quickly. I also was impressed with Will’s vision on Sunday in Oak Creek, as it points out to his tape as this young man can read the angles pre-snap his defenders are giving off with his sound football IQ. At 6’3 190 pounds, this young man has a high ceiling and was 1st Team All-Conference as a junior for the Silver Eagles and one that I believe college coaches will certainly learn about his upside coming into camps this summer for the next handful of years.

Jamison is a 2025 defensive linemen out of Milwaukee Rufus King that showed off some poised technique at our Prep Redzone Wisconsin Showcase on Sunday. At the start of our showcase, Jamison showed off how nimble he was with his lower body showing off a well-versed scope of his athleticism. Once we got into Indy and 1v1s, I saw the physicality of his punch come out heavy with his hands and he also showed off his instincts with his quick release off his defenders which showed off the football IQ this young man has when you roll the tape, as Jamison has an impressive feist in his motor as well and reactive vision. No question to me that this young man will be playing on Saturdays.
Christian was a 2025 prospect out of Appleton North that certainly made his presence known once we got into 1v1s later in the session. I always preach the word consistency, and this young man showed a ton of that in 1v1s as his hand placement was excellent and he was certainly a mauler that constantly moved his defender with all the acumen he showed off at our Prep Redzone Wisconsin Showcase. As a 6’0 240 pound defensive tackle, the athletic mobility this young man shows on tape certainly will allow for some position flexibility at the next-level as this young man has some long strides that can create chaos around the edges.
I always like a prospect that you can tell from start to finish of a camp showed quick strides of development with their skillsets, as that for sure was the case with Madison LaFollette’s Amari Horton Amari Horton 6’0″ | 225 lbs | DL Sun Prairie West | 2025 State WI . Amari showed off a defensive end that was very coachable and athletically gifted with the aptitude he showed off in Oak Creek on Sunday. He also showed off how quickly he could climb downhill and certainly shows off why he is a hybrid DE/LB that has a quick twitch with his agility. On the few clips I watched on tape, man is this kid physical when he makes contact as he constantly gets the ball with plenty of finesse. He certainly is due for a big senior season upcoming and should attract the attention of college coaches at the next-level.

Caleb was a 2024 prospect that also made his noise in the 1v1 reps at the Prep Redzone Wisconsin Showcase. Caleb showed off a wiry chop move that absolutely caught my attention to his skillsets in Oak Creek. The 6’1 240 pounder from New Richmond passed my eye test with his frame from top to bottom as he looked like he spends plenty of time in the Tigers weight room. Also in 1v1s, Caleb showed off some elusiveness as a defensive line prospect that could fit inside some small windows, as he impressed me with his motor and his contraction to make himself smaller in those tight areas. The tape shows Caleb as a prospect that is fluid on both sides of the line and has plenty of versatility with those hands of his. With three WIAC offers already, I would expect more attention to come this young man’s way.

They always say you have to save the best for last, as we meet Lakeside Lutheran 2025 defensive linemen and our defensive line MVP from our Prep Redzone Wisconsin Showcase Alex Baehr Alex Baehr 6’3″ | 215 lbs | DL Lakeside Lutheran | 2025 State WI . Alex was a heavy-hitter not just on my notepad, but at our showcase as he was one of the first defensive linemen that popped out to me from the early drills in Oak Creek. At 6’3 215 pounds, Alex showed off his explosion level from watching him on the broad jump as he recorded an 8’1 as a 2025 prospect that has quite the upside with the future growth of his frame. Alex showed off a 2025 prospect that is a quick learner and is extremely coachable as I saw his instincts grow swiftly from start to finish of the first session. He showed off very quick hands, a grinding motor, and very reactive vision. Alex also showed off plenty of excellent pad-level on the point of attack which was why he was so successful it felt on every 1v1 rep I watched out of him. This young man was certainly one of the biggest stockrisers in our 2025 class in the state of Wisconsin overall at our Prep Redzone Wisconsin Showcase and easily has a future playing on Saturdays.
