Jack Catchpole Jack Catchpole 6'2" | 180 lbs | K Seton Hall Prep | 2024 NJ was a consistent, reliable force for the Pirates all season long – particularly down the stretch and into their playoff run. A lefty kicker, he has shown that he can hit from either hash as well as the middle of the field. One clip that he added I was able to recognize the wind from the flag blowing left-to-right from the left hash, which he accounted for in his successful kick. Catchpole gets the most on his kicks as he is sure to follow through each time he strikes the ball. Capable of punting as well, the best punt he showed was a full “Four Misssissippi” count in my head and traveled approximately 55 yards in the air without wind. Given that one punt clip he showed, I would have liked to see more of Catchpole as a punter.

For the second week in a row we find Catchpole being a game-changer in the kicking game for Seton Hall. Aside from making all three of his PAT attempts – which seems automatic at this point – Catchpole was trusted to add points to the board to conclude three different drives. Although he missed one field goal, he absolutely nailed the other two – especially when he drilled the 38-yarder in the revenge-game victory over rival St Joe’s Montvale, 35-28.

St. Joe’s of Metuchen was one of the hottest teams entering the playoffs – that was until Seton Hall Prep cooled their jets. In the 61-20 victory, Catchpole did an outstanding job fulfilling his duties as the Pirates’ placekicker. Executing a perfect day, Catchpole was 8 of 8 in PATs and made his only field goal attempt.

In a big 40-27 victory on the road against rival Paramus Catholic, Seton Hall Prep seemed to be firing on all cylinders offensively. Special teams wise Catchpole, the Pirates’ kicker, had a very solid game. Catchpole was 4 of 5 on PATs; however, he proved yet again he is one of the state’s most reliable place kickers going 2 of 2 on field goal attempts. He is now 8 of 8 on the season.
