I can’t tip my cap to Stephens enough for being the team player he is. To rotate in your final 2 years and stay ready all the time is hard. Most players would have left in his situation, and I’m glad he did. It speaks volumes to his character. He came in today and threw a 20-yard TD to Sharpe to help continue the comeback.

Stephens was fairly efficient on the night when they dropped back. He went 12 of 19 for 181 yards and 2 TDs with the 1 INT. He added 41 yards on the ground with his legs and kept multiple drives alive taking off. While they didn’t come out on top, he gave them a chance when they got down early and never gave up when things looked bleak early.
