Hunter has good potential at outside linebacker and may have an opportunity to earn Varsity starts next season.

His whole JV tape is solid. Plays like 3:05 show a good ability to play contain when on-ball, while plays like 3:19 show a decent ability to stop the outside run (on his side of the field). Really, I’d love to see much better physicality next season. I see that Hunter knows his keys, can read an offense, and he consistently puts himself in a good position to make a play. What is lacking right now is all-around physicality. I’ll mention 3:17 again. Hunter is 1on1 with the running back, but instead of working upfield and delivering a hit, he plants his feet and waits for the RB to come to him.

Still very optimistic about Hunter’s development. With a good offseason and 2025 season he could be a prospect in a year’s time.
