Mustang linebacker Hudson Conrad Hudson Conrad 6'2" | LB Mustang | 2023 State OK is yet another great get for UCO as the Bronchos just raked in some of the best linebackers in Oklahoma’s 2023 class. Conrad is a very physical backer that put up some monster numbers during his senior season. Conrad was a linebacker that consistently got better over the last two and a half years. We’ve mentioned the NFL DNA that Conrad has and he’s a prospect that you can rely on to be in the right spots and know his assignments. UCO routinely does a really good job recruiting Oklahoma and they killed it with the linebacker position.

In every class, there are a few prospects at each position that are head-scratchers in terms of their recruitment somewhat lacking and for the linebacker position, one of those guys is Mustang senior Hudson Conrad Hudson Conrad 6'2" | LB Mustang | 2023 State OK . There isn’t much not to like about Conrad’s game. He has production at the highest level, he plays with an incredibly high motor and he has the DNA to be a next level player. Conrad’s recruitment has picked up a bit throughout the fall and now that the first signing period is in the books, he should certainly be high up on the priority list when it comes to linebackers in Oklahoma. With some prospects, there are risks to adding them to your team. With Conrad, there aren’t any reasons not to take a guy like him.

Another linebacker that is incredibly productive has been Mustang linebacker Hudson Conrad Hudson Conrad 6'2" | LB Mustang | 2023 State OK . When we talk about Mustang, a lot of the attention quickly goes to the offensive side of the ball because the Broncos have some legitimate weapons on that side. However, the defense has been good throughout the year and a big reason behind that has been the play of Conrad. He just looks like an extension of the coaching staff out on the field and seems to always be in the right place at the right time. Conrad is definitely a college prospect and as Mustang makes their playoff push in November, more eyes will be on him.

There are so many good linebackers in the state’s 2023 class. The top of the group is about 10-15 deep and there isn’t much that separates the individual players. One of those standout linebackers is Mustang’s Hudson Conrad Hudson Conrad 6'2" | LB Mustang | 2023 State OK , who is having a fantastic senior season. We were relatively high on Conrad coming into this season but he’s continuing to raise the bar and should be considered in the discussion for top five linebackers in this class. He’s a fast and physical outside linebacker who can fly all over the field. Conrad is the son of former OU and NFL offensive lineman JR Conrad. There are definitely next level genetics within the Conrad family and Hudson has them. We love this 2023 linebacker group but Conrad is a name that seems to be going in the right direction as he continues his senior season.
