Lipscomb has a raw blend of size and traits that should make some college programs excited about his upside. He is still growing into himself as a mover, but his huge radius as an athlete means he doesn’t have to be perfect. As long as he’s around the ball, his length can do the rest, poking at the catch pocket for PBUs and acting as a tower QBs have to throw over. He is still growing into his stride, but he is fluid and capable of changing direction. Lipscomb is a fun player to dream on.

Hayden Kentrell Lipscomb Hayden Kentrell Lipscomb 6'2" | 175 lbs | DB/WR Opelika | 2027 State AL is a talented DB out of Opelika heading into a big junior season this upcoming fall.

Lipscomb is a reliable and rangy safety who flies all over the field to provide great run support and coverage. At 6’1 165, he has impressive sideline-to-sideline speed, great instincts, and excellent tackling skills he consistently uses to prevent big plays in the secondary.

I’m most impressed with how well Lipscomb plays the run. He’s incredibly quick to react and has the pursuit skills to track and make impressive hustle plays from the other side of the field. He has a huge season ahead this fall; everyone should be on the lookout.
