is another 2027 prospect that we’ve known about since early on in his high school career. And it was around this time last year that Gibbons started to blow up in a major way as a true prospect. And it was what Gibbons was doing on the track that was starting to turn heads. You could see on film or in person that Gibbons was a dynamic talent on the football field and he was a reliable pass catcher but the track times elevated him to another level as a prospect. The speed is real and Gibbons started posting some really impressive times. That continued this offseason as he’s a very fun and dynamic player to watch.

Gibbons is a true athlete and that is displayed not only on the football field, but in track as well. As the top 100m dash runner, Gibbons is able to use his speed to find space and get open in the passing game. He is a quarterbacks best friend but a defenses nightmare. He can also be used as a jet sweep ball carrier and in special teams. His speed is elite but let’s not forget about his ability to catch the football. Gibbons can make plays all over the filed, look for him to have a major impact in 6A-1 football for Deer Creek, and a top Oklahoma prospect.

is enjoying that breakout season that he was primed to have this fall. All signs pointed towards Gibbons being that breakout star in this Deer Creek offense this season. He was absolutely torching the track this spring and was putting up times that got his name on radars of D1 programs. He had a terrific spring and summer and has carried all of that momentum into this season. Deer Creek is going through a bit of a youth movement but Gibbons is definitely a name to remember moving forward. We think as his junior film and those track times make the rounds in the next few months, he could really blow up.

at the wide receiver position. Gibbons has a ton of momentum coming into this season after an offseason where he’s gotten bigger, stronger and faster. And the speed is what puts Gibbons in a very ideal position this fall. He has legit track speed and he saw limited time last season. He only had six catches for 60 yards but we think he will blow those numbers out of the water. Gibbons has used that speed to impress college coaches this offseason and his recruitment has started to take off. Now, he’s one of the more intriguing players to watch heading into the 2025 season.

has been on our radar for a while now. But he is legitimately one of the fastest prospects in the state’s 2027 class and he’s starting to earn that attention that he’s been fighting for in the last 18 months. First off, Gibbons jumped up all the way into the Top 30 and is flirting with being a Top 20 overall guy. That speed in his game is a big reason why but he’s also grown physically. Gibbons really impressed us at a team camp last month as a threat in the open field and after the catch. He’s a really good example of the term “stock riser” because his arrow is pointing up in a major way and shows no signs of slowing down. Gibbons is also currently tearing it up on the college camp circuit. He’s already earned a few D1 offers and that probably won’t slow down as he goes into his junior season this fall.

is one of them. Similar to Tucker at Santa Fe, Gibbons had a really good showing at our January camp. He tested incredibly well and could give the Deer Creek offense a burst at the receiver position.

impressed us last year at a PRZ-Next camp and then he did it again on Sunday. Gibbons finished tied for the third fastest 40-yard dash time at 4.50 seconds and that was a personal best for Gibbons coming into Sunday. Gibbons would also finish tied for the seventh fastest shuttle time, clocking in at 4.31 seconds and he did it again on his second run.

found himself all alone and could walk in to the end zone to punch their ticket to the championship game. Gibbons is another example of a wide receiver that just seems to find a way to get open. He still has plenty of time to grow and become more of a threat physically. But right now, it’s the fact that he knows how to get open and has a good connection with his quarterback that stood out this weekend.
AL Pops: Gibbons is a prospect that has been on my radar for some time and I’m sure to check back in on via social media every other week or so. He attended our PRZ Next Middle School Showcase at the end of January and was hand-timed at a 4.78 in the forty, showing off some wheels. He was a regular season teammate of Quarterback
