It’s early for Gabe Kennett, but he already flashes being a great prospect at the quarterback position as a class of 2029 gunslinger for Ben Davis High. Kennett has a quick release, throws a great on-time, accurate deep ball, and had a productive freshman season with 1,342 yards total and 17 touchdowns with two rushing touchdowns to boot. Ben Davis is a young team and his growth will only get better in the years to come.

is a very mobile quarterback who can roll out and throw on the move. Kennett flashes a good arm to get the ball downfield, he reads and reacts to pressure well and can escape in the pocket well, flashing good instincts and on-field awareness. Class of 2029 prospect with plenty of upside and the tools to be a quarterback college coaches want.
BD hasn’t had the type of year it’s used to, but Kennett’s been getting worked in as the year has gone on, and if what he showcased Friday is a glimpse of things to come, the Giants are going to be just fine. He’s got a live arm and can make throws in stride and off script. In a historic type of performance, Kennett tore up North Central. He went 21 of 28 for 370 yards and 8 TDs through the air.
Kennett has had his ups and downs through 4 games, but the potential is clear. I love his confidence and the fact that he’s not afraid to keep letting it rip. He’s got a good throwing motion and throws a nice, tight spiral. He can throw it on a line and take something off of it when he needs to. He’s completing 58% of his throws for 615 yards and 6 TDs
