and was eerily efficient. He didn’t turn the ball over, moved the chains, and kept the offense on the field. He’s one of those guys who makes everything look simple and easy. He goes through his reads quickly, fires the ball on a line, and doesn’t put it in a bad spot. He’s got good ball placement and doesn’t put his receivers in danger over the middle. His 63% completion was good for 1700 yards and 20 TDs through the air in his 9 games. I like his quiet demeanor on the field and how he’s always ready for the next down.

Being his first season under Center at Ben Davis, it’s been an up-and-down year for Goss. He’s had his moments and he’s had his moments where he’s needed to be coached up. However, the talent and potential are clear as day and his performance on Friday should give Ben Davis a lot of hope for the future. Goss threw for 303 yards and 5 TDs in the 38-35 loss to Brownsburg.
