Compared to most top recruits, Ben Davis Ben Davis 6'1" | 200 lbs | LB/ATH Fort Wayne North Side | 2028 IN athlete Keontay Toomer Keontay Toomer 6'3" | 180 lbs | DB Ben Davis | 2027 State IN ‘s recruiting started slowly, but it has really come alive lately with UConn, Ball State, Kansas, Illinois and Wisconsin all offering the 6-foot-2 prospect who is a very good defensive back. I saw Toomer at the Colts 11-on 7v7 tournament last July and he has very good size, arm length and coverage skills.

Toomer stood out to me at the Colts 11-On 7v7 tournament last summer for his size, coverage abilities and quick closing speed.

Toomer is off to a hot start for Ben Davis Ben Davis 6'1" | 200 lbs | LB/ATH Fort Wayne North Side | 2028 IN and looks good doing it. He’s got fantastic length and range on the backend. He’s quick and doesn’t second guess what’s happening in front of him. He can cover sideline to sideline and strikes me as a guy who develops into a fantastic Safety. His 24 tackles and 1 TFL are nice, but I think he’s just scratching the surface of his upside.
