has been on my radar for a while now and continued to stand out as a junior. Johnson lines up at right tackle where he is very impressive as a run blocker. Drew has a physical initial punch which he is able to use to knock opposing defenders off balance with ease. He also does a great job of getting to the second level and picking up blocks in the open field. He has also proven to be reliable in pass protection, showing the ability to reach blocks on rollouts while also having the footwork to mirror pass rushers off the edge. Johnson doesn’t currently hold any offers but he is a player who college coaches should be paying attention to this season.

. Johnson had an impressive sophomore season at right tackle for Owensboro. He is a dominant run blocker, showing the ability to explode out of his stance and create movement off the line of scrimmage. Johnson also does a good job of getting to the second level quickly and picking up blocks in open space. He is also reliable in pass protection, showing the ability to pick up blitzes and get into his pass set quickly to mirror opposing pass rushers off the edge. Johnson doesn’t currently hold any offers but is a player to keep an eye on over the next two seasons.
